Polar Vortex: 5 Cold Weather Essentials
This polar vortex has made me rethink the wardrobe for my upcoming trip back East scheduled for this Wednesday. Keeping in consideration all the flight cancellations due to extreme conditions, I'm not even sure the trip will materialize, but I sure hope it does. Here's a brief take on what I would love to be bringing along to look really stylish during this vortex.
1./ Sorel's Winter Fancy Boots, 2./ Pendleton fringed scarf 3./ Hooded Thickened Fleece Lined Coat , 4./ paw mittens, 5./ Need Supply Fragment Leggings.
The BIG Italian Event
Over the weekend, I styled the windows of Loehmann's in San Francisco to usher in its huge Italian event that goes public today! Beautiful designer clothes and shoes by Moschino, D&G, Patrizia Pepe, Fuzzi, Alberta Ferretti and Bruno Magli (to name a few) are being offered at amazing prices. Catch a glimpse of the looks I put together and be sure to check out the event. Fall is just around the corner...
Fashion Meets Its Match: A`Detacher Spring 2012
I've been mildly obsessed with A' Detacher ever since I learned it's the label of choice of a very dear and stylish friend. My friend's style is effortless and her very own, and one of her favorite designers is Mona Kowalska, founder and creator of A' Detacher. Her creations are elegant, structured, yet comfortable and a bit edgy. This obsession has inspired a 'Fashion Meets Its Match'. Take a look at some of my favorite spring 2012 pieces and the rooms I imagine wearing them in:

Fashion Meets Its Match: Dries van Noten
Botanical prints, landscape photographs and juxtaposed patterns make up Dries van Noten's Spring 2012 collection. Usually, I can't bear to look at upcoming spring fashions at this time of year. There's already a chill in the air and the acceptance that it will take 5 months before I can even bare an arm. However, in this unusually balmy Fall I was able to indulge in some Spring fashion viewing. Take a look at how some of my favorite pieces are matched to rooms I imagine them in.
