Cass Clutch: Where You Headed, Pardner?
Since its successful Kickstarter campaign, The Cass Clutch has been shipped and received by campaign supporters throughout the country and just recently a big bag order was mailed to Niebuhr.01 in Berlin! There's a new color, an inside pocket and small, coordinated zippered pouches which will be released at the SF Renegade Craft Fair the weekend of November 19th and 20th. I'm also looking forward to Cass Clutch participating in the Childrens' Health Guild Holiday Boutique & Luncheon on December 2nd in San Francisco. A portion of proceeds from the event will help provide local children and their families with much needed healthcare services. I hope to see you at either one or both of these upcoming events.
In the mean time, check-out Cass Clutch's recent photo shoot. A vintage MG sets the stage for The Cass Clutch in Big Sur Green and Stinson Amber. The bag's simple shape, color and flexible design combined with the season's fashion showcases how The Cass Clutch is both classic and current. It's a bag built to last. Take a look:
Many thanks to Beverly Jane Peatross for modeling, to John for lending his car and to all who have and continue to support The Cass Clutch.
Mood Board: Stinson Amber
The Cass Clutch in Stinson Amber is inspired by the grasses and sandy shores of California's Stinson Beach and the classic suede bags from the seventies. Here I paired it with a striped knit dress, tasseled earrings and some funky boots: the perfect ensemble for the modern bohemian.
What To Wear: A Shared Pinboard
Sometime in September I created a Pinterest board entitled "What To Wear" as a place to share autumnal fashion ideas and sources with other pinners. I must admit it's been super fun following everyone's favorite looks. There's a great group of contributors: a fashionista who finds inspiration from the runaways, a lover of layering clothes, a chic and sophisticated dresser, a woman with lots of bohemian flair and a laid-back clothes horse. To all those that are adding to the board, please keep doing it. I'm already spotting fashion for a Spring 2015 pinboard, even though I haven't been able to put on a pair of boots or wear a cashmere sweater yet. California's heat wave is giving me the Fall wardrobe denial blues...
If you'd like to be part of the shared "What To Wear" board follow me on Pinterest so I can send you an invite.
Happy pinning!

What To Wear: Autumnal Updates
With the upcoming change of seasons, I've been eyeing a few fashion items for my Fall repertoire. Not in need of much, I thought a new handbag would update my wardrobe nicely, perhaps a cozy sweater in an unexpected color, a scarf or two for cooler temperatures, a pencil leather skirt and, of course, a new pair of boots. Wedges seem to be all the rage these days...
What's your approach to dressing for the cooler days and nights ahead? Is it an all-out shopping spree credit cards in hand or is it focused on a few key pieces that transition well from season to season?
I have a new [shared] Pinterest Board titled "What To Wear". Let's get started pinning and sharing our favorite Fall fashion looks. Can't wait to see your pins!!

The Culled Closet: I Caved In
Contrary to the revelation in my "Culled Closet" post, I bought yet another accent piece. I'm now the proud owner of a pink patterned jumper, which BTW looks great with a brown suede handbag I found in a SF vintage shop. Having said that, I'm still focused on culling items and hope to hone in on my Spring 2014 "look" in a timely manner. Stay tuned.
Do you have a favorite new item in your Spring wardrobe? If so, please share.
