Room Inspiration: Monkey Wallpaper
Since I haven't been able to get this wallpaper from House Beautiful out of my mind, I decided to create a room around it. Actually, two rooms. This week you'll see how this paper inspires a dining room and next week how it inspires a child's bedroom. Take a look:
The weathered veneer of Bungalow 5's Fairfax table offsets the sheen of the wallpaper.
The textured, circular pattern in the Meri Drum chandelier (from Oly) mimics the paper pattern.
Crate and Barrel's Passion Flower Plate.
Dahlia placemat and napkin from Crate and Barrel.
Suzanne Sharp's Dippy Orange rug grounds the room and adds a pop of color.
Hans Wegner's wishbone chair softens the lines of the rectangular table with its curvy shape.
Koo de Kir's glossy vases
The Thurston Buffet from Clayton Gray Home adds of touch of glamour to the room, great storage space and a surface area for entertaining.
Stay tuned in the coming weeks for a monkey wallpaper inspired bedroom.
